We are in our final week in Minnesota before heading west. We will spend a week with our daugter, son-in-law and grandson in Portlond before we head for Cebu on August 3. It has been a good year of spending time with family, re-connecting with friends, and and visiting churches and supporters. Some highlightes of our year stateside:
1. The kickoff of CSC's capital campaign, Building a Legacy of Hope, was a great time. We have met with a lot of people in recent months, and have seen lots of positive response.
2. The CSC banquet on April 28 was a fantastic night. So many people contributed to the success of the evening. I can't remember a better banquet in our history. And the offering blew us away.
3. Spending Christmas with our daughters and their husbands, our grandson and the rest of the family was really great. As missionaries, we miss out on so many family times that we great appreciate any opportunities we have to be together.
4. Two family weddings this summer added lots of spice to our lives.
5. Jenny was able to be a part of the Anodyne Art studio this year. This was a great blessing for our family. The people there are really fantastic, and Jenny thrived in that environment.
Tomorrow we have a good bye party with our church friends, and a small art show for Jenny.
Thanks to all who have helped make this a great year for the Healy family.
